I. Call to Order
Meeting adjourned at 2:05 p.m.
II. Roll Call of Board Members
Board Members Present:James Dildy, Clinton Bailey, David Mathews, James Malay,
Bud O'Bryan, Robert Pate, Sean Rodriguez,Karim Salighedar,Julio Sanchez and Mike
Wanzer
Board Members Absent:Stacey Gallagher and Billy Largin
City Staff Present:Stephen Draper,Joseph Elliott and Catherine Garza j ' '
III. Address Absences from Regular Board Meeting,January 13,2011
Mr. Mathews and Mr. Largin sent e-mails to inform that they would not be able to attend
\ this meeting due to unavoidable work related issues. Mr. Wanzer made the first motion
Jp and Mr.Salighedar made the second motion to excuse their absences;all were in favor.
IV. Approval of Minutes from Regular Board Meeting,January 13,2011
Mr. 0'Bryan made the first motion to approve minutes as written. At Rodriguez made
the second motion;all were in favor.
V. Introduction of newly appointed Board Members/Farewell to expired Board Members
Plaques of appreciation were handed out by Mr.Elliott to expired Board members, Mr.
Pate and Mr. Dildy;the remainder of the meeting consisted of members getting
acquainted and visiting.
VI. Review, consider, discuss, and possible action concerning proposed Draft Ordinance adopting
2009 International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International FueVGas Code,
International Energy Code,International Residential Code,and Local Amendments Thereto
No action taken on this agenda item; Mr. Bounds is in the progress of wrapping up the
Ordinance draft It is projected that the draft will be presented next month.
VII. Identify items to be placed on next Agenda
Mr. Draper would like to add the Bold Future Initiative and Green Codes.
VIII. Building Official Report
Mr. Draper informed the Board that the permit activity for the last quarter was strong.
He also gave a staff update and mentioned that offers for the Building Inspector and

Plans Examiner positions have been presented to eligible candidates;an Electrical Inspector has
been hired and the position for the Plumbing/Mechanical Inspector has been advertised.

No one addressed the Board during public forum.
X. Adjournment
Meeting adjourned at 2.•25 pin.
