I. Call to Order: 3:30pm
II. Roll Call
• Present: Jared Merdes, Mike Wanzer, Ronald Klepac, Car! Suding, Mike Dildy, and Maverick Volesky, Jr
▪ No Absences
• Staff: Gene Delauro, Building Official and Criselda Aguirre, Board Secretary
III. Approval of Absences:
A. Regular Meeting on November 10, 2016: Mike Wanzer and Carl Suding
• Motion to approve this item was made by R. Klepac and seconded by M. Volesky.
B. Special Called Meeting on January 11, 2017: Carl Suding
• Motion to approve this item was made by J. Merdes and seconded by M. Dildy.
IV. Approval of Minutes:
A. Regular Meeting on November 10, 2016 and Special Called Meeting on January 11, 2017
• Motion to approve this item, with changes, was made by M. Volesky and seconded by C. Suding.
V. Discussion and possible action regarding the election of the 2017 Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the
Mechanical/Plumbing Advisory Board.
• The Board appointed Mike Wanzer as Chairman and Jared Merdes as Vice -Chairman.
VI. Discussion on Revised 2015 Commercial Energy Requirements.
• Discussion only, no action taken.
VII. Discussion on Revised Backflow Assembly Testing Ordinance & City Backflow Cross Connection Control
Program.
• Discussion only, no action taken
VIII. Building Official's Report
• Gene Delauro discussed department updates and permit recap 2017 to date
IX. Public Comments: None
X. Identify items to be placed on next agenda
• Presentation on TDI Windstorm Updates
• Suggestion was made to change meeting frequency to monthly as opposed to quarterly.
XI. Adjourn: 5:15pm
• Motion to adjourn was made by M. Wanzer and seconded by R. Klepac.
