Chairman Miller called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. , in the Committee
Room on the first floor of City Hall.
A motion was made by Mr. Lew Larson, seconded by Mr. Mike Sutton and passed
unanimously to approve the minutes of the November 12, 1992 meeting.
The next item of business was the discussion and consideration to recommend
updating the Corpus Christi Mechanical Code to the SBCCI 1991 Edition of the
Standard Mechanical Code, during which no action was taken.
Under current concerns and events, Mr. Miller informed the members that he
had sent a letter to Mr. Lorenzo Gonzalez, Building Official, requesting that a
meeting be set up between the Chairmen of the Electrical Advisory Board, the
Building Code Board of Appeals and himself. A brief discussion followed during
which Mr. Miller clarified that he wanted staff to find out the date that the 24
hour grace period Ordinance passed and the name of the City Councilman that first
recommended the 24 hour grace period amendment.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
