MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE
MECHANICAL PLUMBING ADVISORY BOARD
AUGUST 11, 1994

Mr. Larson, Vice Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:04 p.m. , in the
Committee Room on the first floor of City Hall.
The first item of business was the approval or corrections of the minutes
of July 14, 1994.
A motion was made by Mr. Hurst, seconded by Mr. Sutton to approve the
minutes of July 14, 1994. Motion carried.
The next item of business was the discussion and consideration to recommend
amending Standard Mechanical Code Section 308.9.3 Clothes Dryer.
Mr. Gonzalez, Building Official stated that Mr. Voss the proponent had not
submitted any information regarding the item and he suggested that the board
table the item pending a submital of information.
A motion was made by Mr. Hurst, seconded by Mr. Sutton to table the item
until a formal presentation is made. The motion carried.

The next item of business was the Common Code Format Review.
Mr. Gonzalez informed the board that the Common Code Format Review was an
educational item. He added that the SBCCI 1994 Edition was being released and
that it was being re-formatted. Mr. Gonzalez also stated that the 1994
Edition of the Code would be available in about two (2) months and that an order
had been placed for review purposes.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
