Bud O'Bryan,Abey Flores,Robert Knowles were absent. Nick Llanes made a motion to excuse Clarence Neal for his previous absence. Herman Johnson seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. The next item of business was the approval andlor corrections of the minutes for August 12,1999. Herman Johnson seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. The next item of business was the Building Official's Report. Art Sosa stated that at this time our computer software and systems were in Phase I. Phase II would most likely be ready by April 2000. Art Sosa stated that the National Electrical Code would be submitted to the City Council in April for adoption. The next item of business was the discussion of the 1997 Plumbing Code. Jay Reining,Legal Department and Lelland reviewed the changes for Irrigation language on curb,sidewalk,street over spray. Herman Johnson provided a hand out that detailed the different synopsis against homeowner's installing irrigation systems without spdtzers. Jay emphasized that the"key factor"would address over spray,overflow,on curbs or sidewalks. Jay Reining agreed to review the handout and bring the proposed ordinance back at the January 2000 meeting. Any further action on the ordinance was tabled until January 2000 meeting. There were no petitions from the audience. Ronald Klepac made a motion to adjoum. Nick Lianas seconded the motion.
