MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 5,2013

The meeting was called to order at 3:05 prn by Neomi Ramirez, RSVP Director.
A quorum of members was present.
Roll Call:
Roll call was conducted and members present were Anne Bauman, Stephen Isenhour,
Sylvia Portales and Abel Sanchez. Committee members not present were Maggie Ramsey
and Dale Berry.
al of Minutes: June 6,2013: Sylvia Portales made a motion to approve the
minutes and Stephen Isenhour second the motion.
New Business: RSVP will be recruiting volunteers at the Marina Market Days on
Saturday, September 7, 2013. Neomi Ramirez of the board that RSVP will partner with
Texas A & M Ag Life and host a Diabetes Awareness Seminar. RSVP& SCP will have a
joint Fall Festival at Ben Garza Gym with food, fim & games from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m. on October 29,2013.
Old Business: Neo Ramirez told the board that Merced Pena turned in his resignation
which now leaves RSVP with a vacancy to fill. Applicants who arc interested can turn in
their application on the city's website.
Adjou nment:
There being no further business, Sylvia Portales moved and Stephen Isenhour
second to adjourn the meeting at 4:17 p.m.
