The meeting was called to order at 3:02 pm by Neomi Ramirez, RSVP Director.
A quorum of members was present.
Roll Call:
Roll call was conducted and members present were Anne Bauman, Dale Berry, Stephen
Isenhour, Sylvia art es and Abel Sanchez. Committee member not present were
Maggie Ramsey.
Approval of Minutes.-_June 6,2013: i Sylvia Portales made a motion to approve the
minutes and Abel Sanchez second the motion.
New Business: RSVP is focusing on the grant goals of the program and Terri
Santoy a,Comminity Service Officer will visit all volunteer stations to see if they meet
RSVP standards. RSVP& SCP should be moving to the Sidbury House no later than
January 2014.Neomi Ramirez informed the committee that her last day with RSVP will
be October 18, 2013. She also told the committee at the next meeting to select the 2014
calendar for RSVP Advisory Committee meetings and location.
Old Business: Neomi Ramirez spoke about fundraising and would like to see RSVP
have a Coffee for Seniors event. A Health Fair will be held on October 16, 2013 at
Ben Garza Gym and it is open to the public. On October 29, 2013 RSVP& SCP will
host a Fall Festival also at Ben Garza Gym from I I a.m. to 2 p.m.
