MINUTES
April 3, 2014
The meeting was called to order at 3:07 pm by Ericka Maldonado, Interim RSVP
Director. A quorum of members was present.
Roll Call:
Present members: Anne Bauman, Dale D. Berry, Judy Loverde, Stephen Isenhour, not
present was Sylvia Portales and Abel Sanchez
Approval of Minutes: March 6, 2013:
Stephen Isenhour made a motion to approve the minutes and Judy Loverde second the
motion.
New Business:
Fish for life -looking for help with their website and information- Anne Bauman said she
would take a look at it and see if she could help.
Recruiting Ideas-Look for different recruitment sites, (Whataburger?) Let the volunteers
do the recruitment to free up (Ericka Maldonado's time)
Stephen Isenhour and Dale Berry - did suggest quality is better than quantity when
requiting for volunteers, stated maybe we should raise the bar. Volunteers should
volunteer only 1 hour of their time- but that is basic guidelines from the Grant.
April 17, 2014- Healthy Fun Fair at the CCGym
Greune, Texas —We will be looking into this day trip for our volunteers.
Judy Loverde- Did Question What was the RSVP program and what is the purpose of the
advisory Committee.
Awards Banquet Maylst at the Omni Hotel-please attend!
Look into making subcommittees

Mayors Day of Recognition was a great success. Surveys
Adiournment:
There being no further business, Dale Berry moved and Stephen Isenhour second to
adjourn the meeting at 4:10 p.m.
