MINUTES
October 1, 2015
The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm by Ericka Maldonado, RSVP Director. A
quorum of members was present.
Roll Call:
Present members: Anne Bauman, Abel Sanchez, Renee Hundley, Sylvia Portales, Dale
Berry and New Member Rita Padron was introduced.
Approval of Minute: August:
Sylvia Portales made a motion to approve the minutes and Renee Hundley second the
motion. Motion was approved.
Old Business:
• RSVP/SCP Fundraiser.
• RSVP participated in the NAACP Health Fair at Del Mar College.
Committee Report:
• Renee Hundley explained about the fundraiser for November 14'h.
• Dale Berry will let WellMed know about the fundraiser and see if they are
interested in making a donation.
New Business:
• New Member Rita Padron- expressed concerns about the bylaws for RSVP, why
Ericka Maldonado was conducting the meeting, who was the chair person, why
was the meeting not being recorded, question about the location of the meetings
not being at loam on the 6th floor, and why Bunco was allowed at the Senior
Centers.
• Fundraiser will be selling raffle tickets at Sames Ford- Anne Bauman said she
would sell the tickets from 9am-I lam.
• Fall Festival will take place on October 9�h, in the courtyard at Heritage Park
• Holiday event has been scheduled for Dec 18'h at American Bank Center, Renee
will look for a DJ and Dale Berry will ask WellMed for a Door Prize.
Items to be placed on next agenda:
• What are we doing to recruit new volunteers?
• Where are we recruiting Valero, CCISD, and or the refineries?
• RSVP bylaws- where are they?
Adiournment:
The meeting adjourn at 3:45 p.m. Motion to adjourn the meeting by Renee Hundley and
Dale Berry seconded the motion. All approved.
