The meeting was called to order at loam
Roll Call:
Present members: Connie Aaron, Sylvia Portales, Ruby Martinez, and Pat Anderson
Absent members: Renee Hundley and Joanne Arrevalo
• February minutes were not available for Approval
• March meeting was listed as an orientation
Business:
• RSVP and SCP Picnic- was a success
0 150 attendees
o Worms were an issue
o Food was great
o Maybe next year have something for them to do while they wait
• Texas Open Act Meeting Training Deadline is May 12'h
• May 161h Awards Banquet
o Recognize Rookies
o Gifts to be distributed
• Ruby Martinez Concern-What can be done to have people not cut in line?
o Solution was to not show up until time of event- no early birds
Directors Report
• Ericka Maldonado discussed volunteers and hours served for Grant year 17-18
• Rolls for Advisory Board members at the event
• Recruit days —Advisory Board members should participate
o Members would like to receive text messages
