Monday, July 287 2014
CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Mr. Edd Price, Chair, called the meeting to order at
2:32 p.m. Meeting began with Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.
Quorum: The required amount of members (5) were present to conduct a meeting.
Present: 8 Edd Price, Shelia Cudd, Dennis Miller, John Garcia, Scott Harris,
Tommy Watson, Gretchen Arnold, Bill Strawn
Absent., I - Henry Palacios;
IL APPROVAL FOR MINUTES FOR June 16, 2014.- A motion was made by Ms. Gretchen,
seconded by Ms. Cudd that the minutes be passed. The motion passed unanimously.
III. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Mr. Edd Price opened meeting for public comment.
Corpus Christi resident, Benno Kauffman, spoke about his trafflc concerns
along Ohio and Lindale area.
W. CONSENT AGENDA
Raymond Chong introduced the following City staff: Ms. Janet Kellogg (Attorney
1), Ms. Renee T. Couture (P.E., Assistant City Traffic Engineer), and Guadalupe
Satas (Management Aide).
a) Traffic Crash Data Trends
• Monthly Traffic Fatality Report
• Top 20 Traffic Crash Locations for the Month
• CCPD DWI 2014 Statistics
A motion was made by Dennis Miller, seconded by Shelia Cudd to accept
consent agenda. The motion passed unanimously.
V. ACTION AGENDA
a) it Street between Del Mar Boulevard and Ayers Street - Change to
Two-Way street
Corpus Christi residents, Ms. Dorothy Bourque Spann and Justine Kauffman,
spoke in opposition to two-way conversion. Mr. Raymond Chong presented a
staff report and recommendation to keep Third Street one-way.

Tommy Watson motioned to keep it Street as one-way, Dennis Miller seconded
that motion. Motion passed unanimously.
INFORMATION AGENDA
a) Traffic Enforcement Initiatives- Captain William Breedlove
There was no report presented due to Captain Breedlove's absence.
b) Plan CC Comprehensive Plan 2035:
Annika Gunning, with Development Services, spoke on Plan CC Comprehensive
Plan to the committee. She described how it provides a vision for the city's
growth with Mobility CC. Goody Clancy is the consultant for the Plan CC
Comprehensive Plan.
c) Mobility CC:
Dennis Miller and Scott Harris briefed TAC on progress for ordinance
amendments.
d) Bond Program
James Harris provided an overview of 2012/2014 projects.
e) Transportation Advisory Board- Ordinance Amendment
Shelia Cudd briefed TAC on progress for ordinance amendment.
f) Regional Transportation Program & Projects
Brigidia Gonzalez passed out survey regarding the 2015-2040 Metropolitan Plan.
