I. Call to Order- 5:09pm
II. Roll Call of Members- Stacie Talbert Anaya-Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation
Present—Christian, Campos, Rodriguez Ehlen Weizer
Not Present— n/a
Staff— Anaya, Pyle, Rhea, Castaneda
III. Adoption of Minutes from August 14 , 2014 Rodriguez motioned; Weizer seconded; all in favor

V. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
VI. Old Business for Discussion and Possible Action
1. Review, Update and Possible Adopt the TAC Action Plan
a. Good translation of discussion at workshop; Not everyone had a chance to read the
plan; Anaya will provide a copy of the gantt chart related to tasks.
b. Some feeling that are original timelines were too aggressive now that we can read
them on paper; Ehlen and Christian both conducted small inventory tests of Cole and
West Guth parks respectively and it took them both much longer than first anticipated;
as a result may need to push the completion of the inventory to late 2015. Grant
provided a copy of his inventory spreadsheet.
c. TAC elected to have October meeting at Collier Park to conduct a sample inventory
and have field training. Pyle will bring overhead maps of park in 11x17 and 8x10;
Weizer will bring tree identification resources; Anaya will bring itree spreadsheet and
ice chest with water; Ehlen will bring Biltmore sticks; Campos will bring clip boards.
d. TAC will read plan in more depth , make notes and additions for November meeting

VIII. Staff Liaison Report
1. Fruit Tree Action Plan Follow Up—trees will be delivered and planted over next several weeks;
spreadsheet presented to Weizer for approval.
IX. Identify Items to be placed on next Agenda October 9, 2014— meeting to start at 2:00 pm and be held
at Collier Park
