MINUTES
I. Call to Order-4:00 PM
II. Roll Call of Members—Joshua Wentworth, Park Operations Superintendent
Present; Phillip Christian, Grant S. Ehlen, Viviana Rodriguez
Not Present; Sylvia Campos, Margareta Fratila
III. Adoption of Minutes from September 10, 2015:
1. Rodriguez motion, Ehlen second, All in favor
IV. Public Comment
Please be advised that the Open Meetings Act prohibits the Tree Advisory Committee from responding
and discussing your comments at length. The law only authorizes them to do the following:
1. Make a statement of factual information,
2. Recite an existing policy in response to the inquiry, or
3. Advise the citizen that this subject will be placed on an agenda at a later date.

VI. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action —
1. Strategies for hazardous tree removal-(Tabled from September 10, 2015)
No action taken
2. Removal of Committee member process
Committee informed of process of sending a letter to remove members based on attendance,
after some discussion Ehlen motion to have a letter sent from the City Secretaries office
informing Fratila that due to her absenteeism she will be removed from the committee. Rodriguez
second, all in favor.
3. Arbor Day celebration
No action taken
