CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m. II.ROLL CALL The roll was called and a quorum was present. I.ADOPTION OF MINUTES Minutes from the July 6,2017 meeting were distributed for review and approval.Cliff made a motion to accept the minutes as presented,Carrie seconded,unanimously approved.Motion passed. IV.HEAR FROM THE PUBLIC—None V. BUSINESS FOR DISCUSSION/POSSIBLE ACTION 1 New Business 2 Old Business a. Update:Adaptive Beach Maintenance Plan Cliff had a chance to review the plans and so did Deidre Williams but the subcommittee had not had a chance to meet and look at the changes. Russell noted that he had to submit this plan by the 15'h of August but that he could state that the plan stays the way they are for now and that really the changes could be made anytime.Cameron suggested that this be reviewed in the winter,outside of the busy summer season for staff and committee members y.Cliff would like all of the members of WBAC get a copy of the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers permit for beach maintenance.Cameron suggested that once the subcommittee has the final revision,it and the Corps permit could be distributed to the members. b.Update: Packery Channel ATON(Aids to Navigation) Nothing has happened on this since the last meeting. c. Update:ISAC Jay was not in attendance to report on this. d. Update:TIRZ2 Project Jay was not in attendance to report on this. VI.STAFF LIASON REPORT 2 • Beach Operation is working towards Labor Day Weekend;only 5 weekends left. • The water line for the showers is still in the engineering department. • North Beach is still short personnel but should have someone coming on board next week.The City is working on the bollards at Surfside parking lots and obtaining materials for the boardwalk. • The educational signage for North Beach is still in the works and they will be bilingual. VII.IDENTIFY ITEMS TO BE PLACED ON NEXT AGENDA 1. Update:Packery Channel ATON(Aids to Navigation) 2. Update:ISAC 3. Update:TIRZ2 Project _-- Commented[PC1]:This was not discussed at the meeting. VIII.ADJOURNMENT Rather,Cliff recently requested this be added to the agenda.
