Other input included: • Color code the timeline • Include interactive videos at key points in the storyline • Demonstrate how fossils were formed, how things change, how the ice age drove animals to Texas and the connection between plants and insects—without insects there would be no flowers • Focus on Swan Lake(Ingleside) and the gravel pits at Orange Grove • Borrow objects from the Texas Memorial Museum • Include both plants and animals • Place plants and animals appropriately in the time line • Integrate history and science • Address extinction and food webs and food chains as a sub story • Impact of scientific advance on our knowledge • Application of science to local industry • Climate and weather • Determine what current environmental issues can be addressed? SCANNED The will be more meetings to conceptually flesh this exhibit out,but they will be separate from the Museum Advisory Committee meetings. c. This will be a difficult budget for the City.
