I. Call to Order
Chair, Rene Gutierrez called the meeting to order at 5:01 pm.
II. Roll Call of Members
The recording secretary called roll and announced a quorum was present.
Ill. Adoption of Minutes
Regular meeting of November 10, 2010.
Rita Padron made a motion to accept the minutes as submitted. Rick Barrera seconded.
Motion passed.

V. Business
A. Old Business for Discussion and Possible Action
1. Park Naming Policy— No Action Taken
On behalf of Legal Task Force Dorian Ramirez presented possible changes to the Park
Naming Policy and they were discussed. Dorian will amend the policy with the possible
changes and present at the January Regular meeting for adoption.
B. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
1. 2008 Master Plan Update
• Stacie Talbert presented 2008-2012 Master Plan Background Updates
• Sylvia Samaniego motioned to accept the backup information, Carlos Haney
seconds, Rita Padron and Lisa Torres abstain. Motion carries.

Finance/Marketing Sub-Committee—no meeting Special Projects Report- No report

Program Development Sub-Committee— Greens Committee Liaison—No report
• Bold Future and Youth Advisory
Committee and PRAC working on plans
for a play day year @ a pocket park with
a community garden to show the
neighborhood what is going on there—
trying to set this up in January or
February.
• Earth Day Bay Day—need more
Christmas trees for Educational Tree
Project.
Volunteers Program Sub-Committee Watershore &Beach Advisory Committee Liaison
• Rita Padron & Becky Perrin spoke briefly No report
• Rita asking Rene Gutierrez—Chair to
change the name from a Volunteer
Committee to a Volunteer Task Force to
provide for more flexibility of meeting
• Rene agrees
Special Project Task Group—no report TAC/Bicycle and Pedestrian Subcommittee

• Michael refers to May 12
minutes — there was motion to
suspend until revision
completed.
• Do we want to proceed with this
request
• Art Norman suggests that if the
Gentleman is changing his
request, than he should re-
submit.

8. Focus on Future Bonds &Wording—include maintenance plans, etc.

As there was no further business, Lisa Torres made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Rita
Padron seconded. There was no opposition. Chair, Rene Gutierrez adjourned at 6:13pm.
