I. Call to Order 4:33 pm by Rick Pedraza, Chair
ii. Roll Call of Members-Roll call was conducted by Hope Herrera. Members present: Adam Alvarez,
Kamlesh Bhikha, Damla Eytemiz, Dotson Lewis, Amy McCoy,Alissa Mejia, Rick Pedraza, Jerry Plemons ,
and Carlos Valdez, Sr.
Members Absent: Doug McBee

➢ Aviator Memorial and Ishka Memorial Updates—projects moving along
➢ Programs Master Plan Update—may have to hold off due to new council
➢ Parks Master Plan Update—moving forward, possibly looking at putting both together to get council
approval
IX. Committee Member Comments/Announcements
o Adam—Security issue trying to get in and out of building for meetings. We will talk to Marc and
security team.
o Jerry—Wondering about more information on private assistance to maintain parks. Will send him
more Adopt-A-Park program, he wants to promote.
o Alissa—Promoting CC Polar Bear Plunge all proceeds going to ALS Research
