I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair, Hunter Young called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
II. ROLL CALL
The acting recording secretary called roll and announced that a quorum was present.
III. ADOPTION OF MINUTES
none

IV. HEAR FROM THE PUBLIC
No one present for public comment
V. BUSINESS
Committee statement for Mayor and Council regarding department budget
Committee members discussed and revised draft of previous comments and concerns.
Staff will format and send copies to City Secretary's office for distribution to Mayor and City
Council members.
Committee discussed options for public comment at June 30th and July 7" Council meetings.
Lisa Torres made a motion that Chair, Hunter Young, speak on their behalf at the July 7,
2009 public hearing on the proposed City of Corpus Christi FY10 Budget. Sylvia Samaniego
seconded. Motion passed.
VI. ADJOURNMENT
As there was no further business, Huxley Smith made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Sylvia Samaniego seconded. The meeting was adjourned by Chair, Hunter Young at 11:27
