Call to Order/Roll Call
A quorum was established at 10:08 a.m.
Members present: Jillian Becquet, Craig Thompson, Dr. Ira J. Freeman, Dr. Bryan Stone,
Kathleen de la Garza, Ernest Bert Rucker, Dr. Christine Riser -Robbins, Randy J. Dees,
Sr. and Madeleine Fontenot
Member(s) absent: Monica Rawlings and Myron Grossman
Certified Local Government Training by Texas Historical Commission (THC) staff: Section 2.6.3
Trainin of the Unified Development Code requires that each member of the Landmark
Commission shall undergo training every two years. The Certified Local Government program of
the Texas Historical Commission requires Staff and Commissioner(s) to attend one training per
year.

• Texas Historical Commission Staff, Lorelei Willett -State CLG Coordinator and Maria
Mougridis-CLG Program Specialist, presented the workshop and addressed
Commissioners' questions
III. Public Comment.
Please be advised that the Open Meetings Act prohibits the Landmark Commission from
Responding and discussing your comments at length. The law only authorizes the
Commissioners to do the following:
1. Make a statement of factual information
2. Recite an existing policy in response to the inquiry
