ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: The recording secretary called roll and announced that a quorum was present. III. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON GOLF BUDGET AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NGF IMPROVEMENTS PLAN: Dan Whitworth presented the Staffs plan to finance the golf courses improvements. Discussion included current vs. projected revenues and expenditures for both Municipal courses including the savings from improvements to be completed in-house. Quality control issues were also addressed. New carts are budgeted to solve that usage and maintenance problem. The proposed increase of golf fees was discussed in detail. Clarification was given that the purpose of the fee increase is to supplement revenue so the surcharge funds could be used to make appropriate improvements. Splitting the Bond 2004 request into two smaller sections was also considered. (Due to a prior obligation, Dan Whitworth left at 6:35 p.m. David Ondrias and Chris Semtner responded to the continued discussion.) Ray Falcon stated the Greens Committee needs to send a strong message of support for this proposal to the Council and to request the improvements commence as soon as possible. Ray Falcon then made a motion to accept the proposal as presented, including the suggested fee increases, full improvements and to encourage Staff to continue looking for additional funding sources. Carl Vaughn seconded. The motion unanimously passed. IX. ADJOURNMENT: As there was no further agenda business, J.V. Arredondo made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 p.m. Ray Falcon seconded.
