("Consultant"),agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Professional Services for Downtown Street Traffic Signals and Area Improvements BOND 2014 (Project No. El 51081: Original Contract October 18, 2016 Motion No. M2016-137 $334,275.00 Amendment No. 1 December 28, 2016 Administrative Approval $35,236.00 Amendment No. 2 January 7, 2019 Administrative Approval $10,010.00 In the Original Contract, Exhibit"A", Section I. Scope of Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Amendment No. 3, Exhibit"A". In the Original Contract, Section III shall be amended based on the modified scope of services in the attached Amendment No. 3, Exhibit "A" for a fee not to exceed $47,561.00, for a total restated fee not to exceed $427,082.00. All other terms and conditions of the October 18, 2016 Contract for Professional Services between the City and Consultant, and of any amendments to that contract,which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect. Box 9277 Corpus Christi,TX 78469 RE: Downtown Streets Traffic Signal and Area Improvements (Bond 2014)-Amendment No. 3 City Project No. E15108 Design of Downtown Streets 2-Way Conversion project(City PN: 19004A) Dear Mr. Edmonds, Freese and Nichols, Inc. (FNI) is pleased to submit an amendment to our professional services contract to provide additional design phase services for the Downtown Streets Traffic Signal and Area Improvements (Bond 2014)for your consideration. This amendment includes additional design effort to prepare plans for the downtown two-way conversions of Starr Street, Peoples Street,Schatzell Street,William Street,and John Sartain Street between Water Street and Shoreline Boulevard. The project limits are shown on the attached Exhibit A. This amendment will include the following services: Design Phase 1. Review available reports, record drawings, utility maps and other information provided by the City pertaining to the project area. 2. Provide site investigation,data collection for Starr Street, Peoples Street, Schatzell Street,William Street,and John Sartain Street between Water Street and Shoreline Boulevard. 3. Coordinate improvements with the City's Project Manager, Traffic Engineering and the Streets Department. Identify operating departments potential project needs. 4. Prepare preliminary sequencing and traffic control drawings 5. FNI will prepare an updated quantity summary and opinion of probable construction cost based on the contractor's unit prices. 7. FNI will submit the draft delivery order to the City Project Manager for review. 8. FNI will attend one(1) site visit with City staff and contractor for the review of the draft delivery order. 9. FNI will submit the final delivery order to the City Project Manager based on City's and contractor's feedback. 10. FNI will attend one (1) meeting with the City and contractor for the review of the delivery order. 11. FNI will respond to requests for information (RFI's)that arise during the construction process. Project Assumptions: a. The project will be constructed through the City's Minor Streets IDIQ project as a delivery order. Drawings and applicable City specifications will be provided. All required contract documents will be prepared by City. b. Traffic signalization design and coordination is not included in this amendment. Recommended modifications to existing signage on the traffic signals will be included as part of this design. c. The traffic control plan is assumed to include temporary closures for each street to through traffic for the fog seal and striping work. If detailed traffic control is needed for partial access,this effort can be included as an additional service. d. Traffic analysis for the two-way conversions is not included in this amendment. e. Topographic Survey and ROW Acquisition is not included in this amendment. f. Construction Phase Services included in this amendment are limited to RFI support. g. Public meetings, permitting, and warranty phase services are not included in this amendment. h. Coordination for parking meter bagging and/or removal is not included in this amendment. AMEND.
