CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The City of Corpus Christi,Texas, hereinafter called"CITY,"and HDR ENGINEERING INC.,hereinafter
called "CONSULTANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services
Leonard Street(Palm Drive to Nueces Bay Blvd.) Bond 2018 (Project No. 18027A) as authorized
and administratively amended by:
Original Contract July 18, 2018 , Administrative Approval $49,935.00
Amendment No. 1 August 21. 2018 Motion No. M2018-140 $526,664.50
Amendment No. 2 Administrative Approval $27,711.00
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, EXHIBIT A, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be modified as shown in
the attached Exhibit A.
IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT, COMPENSATION shall be modified as shown in the attached Exhibit
A-1 for an additional fee not to exceed$11,195.00 for a total restated fee not to exceed$615,505.50.
All other terms and conditions of the August 21,2018 contract between the"CITY"and"CONSULTANT"
and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full
force and effect.

RE: Amendment 3 Leopard Street— Bond 2018 (Project No. 18027A)
Dear Mr. Edmonds,
HDR is requesting an amendment for the subject project to revise the northwest quadrant of the
Nueces Bay Boulevard intersection. HDR provided the City a layout for the Nueces Bay Blvd
intersection as part of the Engineering Letter Report and 60% plan submittal. The City did not
comment on eliminating the right turn island as part of these submittals. The City, as part of the
90% submittal review, requested HDR to eliminate the northwest right turn lane and revise the
corner radius. Our amendment request accounts for modifications to the traffic signal design, street
intersection design/model, and updates to impacted sheets (demo, street/storm, utilities,
sign/striping, and TCP).
In summary, HDR is requesting Amendment#3 in the lump sum amount of$11,195.00 for a
restated fee not to exceed $615,505.50 as shown in Exhibit C.
