Call To Order Melody Cooper, Chair, called the meeting to order at 12:11 p.m. Il. Approval of Minutes The minutes of the October 7, 2019 meeting were The minutes of the October presented for approval. 7, 2019 meeting were not approved as it was reported there was no quorum during that meeting. V. Discussion / Action Items A. Sister City Program Teresa Rodriguez presented the Sister City Program A motion for approval, with Strategic Plan Strategic Plan for review and approval. After review, it the changes as discussed, was decided that additional pertinent information was made by Susan Horn would be added to the Sister City Program Strategic and seconded by Deacon Plan. These include the Mayor of France possibly being on a Buc Day Parade float and a mini concert. Discussion included fundraiser events to help symphony members hold a mini concert. Deacon Mark Arnold provided a status update on the grant he filed on behalf of the Sister City Committee Program, stating he still needs information to complete the file. D. Update on Linz, Teresa Rodriguez reported Mayor McComb had Austria already approved the invitation from Linz, Austria. She will continue to communicate and will follow up on this and provide updates. VI. New Agenda Items No new agenda items were brought forward. VII. Other business Melody Cooper presented an overview of the Sister City Committee Program. She said she learned it is one of the committees which the city would like to remove as an official city committee (the city is planning on removing several committees) in December. She stated she would like to keep it as is, as she considers it an active committee. She stated she had spoken to all of the city council and the Mayor about keeping it as an official city committee. Teresa explained the Sister City Committee Program would continue to exist, along with the Mayor's initiatives, with or without official city council appointments to the committee. The City would still provide $6,000 per year. The only difference is that the committee would not have to wait on City Council to vote in members to the committee. VIII.
