TO THE
INTERDEPARTMENTAL AGREEMENT FY2018
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROJECT
This third amendment ("Third Amendment") is made by and between the Housing and
Community Development Department ("HCD") and the Parks and Recreation
("Department") of the City.
WHEREAS, HCD and the Department executed an agreement ("Agreement"), which
was approved by the City Council on July 24, 2018 for the purpose of utilizing the City's
FY2018-19 Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program funds for a project
entitled Nutrition Education Service Center Improvements ("Project")
WHEREAS, the Department has timely requested an extension of the construction
compliance and term dates in order to complete the project contemplated under the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this Third Amendment to express their mutual
desire to reaffirm all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement
and to extend the construction compliance and term dates of the Agreement.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reaffirm and continue in
force all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement, as may be
amended by the execution of this Third Amendment.
Section 2. Section 1, subsection 1.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "May 31, 2020" and inserting the date "September 30, 2020."
Section 3. Section 2, subsection 2.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "May 31, 2020" and inserting the date "September 30, 2020."
Section 4. Section 3, subsection 3.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "May 31, 2020" and inserting the date "September 30, 2020."
Section 5. Section 6, subsection 6.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "May 1, 2020" and inserting the date "September 1, 2020."
Section 6. By execution of this Third Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
extend the construction compliance and term dates stated in the original Agreement. All
other terms, conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not changed by this Third
Amendment remain the same and in full force and effect.
