Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Connie Bowen at 12:39 p.m. II. Roll Call of Members Roll was called, and a quorum was confirmed. III. Public Comments None IV. Discussion and Approval of Minutes from March 171h, 2021 Linda Gibeaut motioned to approve. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously. V. Discussion and Approval of Absences from March 17'", 2021 None VI. Department Presentation and Discussion Region 11 Zoonosis Report— Mr. Skidmore advised the board that we are awaiting the new quarterly Zoonosis report. We will present new report next month. Current Shelter Report and Clinic Report — Joel Skidmore went over the CCACS Comparison Shelter Report for March 2020/2021 Program Manager Update — Mr. Skidmore addressed questions/concerns with CCACS Comparison report. Mr. Skidmore advised the board he met with Ms. Brown, one of the city attorneys to discuss proposed changes to the fee schedule. An owner surrender fee will be added as well as Dangerous Dog supplies, leashes, collars, signs. City license will be removed to coincide with the new microchip ordinance. The board inquired on the adoption fee and Mr. Skidmore advised the adoption fees will remain at $25. Ms. Gibeaut inquired if we will continue to have adoptions appointments. Mr. Skidmore stated that we would continue with appointments at this time. The board inquired on the proposed budget. Mr. Skidmore explained Ms. Soliz is in the process of working on the budget and being able to present it next Advisory Board meeting. Ms. Bowen inquired how many Kennel Tech positions we had. Mr. Skidmore advised we currently have 2 Full Time Kennel Tech positions currently, one of which is available since the individual accepted an ACO position. There are 3 vacancies for Temp Kennel Tech positions. Mr. Skidmore explained he will be requesting 4-5 Full Time Kennel Tech positions and may have to give up Temp positions for those, 3 additional ACO positions, 1 additional Cruelty Officer position, 2 additional vet tech positions 1 additional Veterinarian, 2 additional Live Release, 2 additional ACO trucks and 1 sedan. Mr. Skidmore advised that he plans on starting up microchipping events again however when and where are still in discussion. Possibly on the last Thursday of the month when we are closed the public. Ms. Ray explained Gulf Coast still intends are working with CCACS in a outreach program however she does not have anyone in that position at this time. Mr. Skidmore advised the board Cheryl Martinez from PAAC spoke with CCACS about the Pet Retention program being reinstated.
