HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING

The regular monthly meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Paul York,
Chairperson. The roll call was taken and a quorum was present to conduct a
legally constituted meeting.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
It was moved and seconded that the Minutes of May 16, 1991 be approved. The
motion passed unanimously.
Chairperson's Comments
Commissioner York stated he would not seek reappointment when his term expires
in June. He commented to the Commission that Ms. Harrell is doing an
outstanding job for the Human Relations Commission.
PUBLIC INTRODUCTION AND RRMARIS
NONE
OLD BUSINESS
The Commission wanted to know the status on the Fair Housing Assessment.
Commissioner York stated he would independently lobby the City Council on the
Fair Housing Assessments to let them known the importance of the assessment to
the City of Corpus Christi. Commissioner Haltom also said she would talk with
Mayor Rhodes if necessary.
