A. Call To Order
Chairman Richard Bell called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

The motion to approve the minutes was made by Mr. Broomfield and seconded by Mr.
Murray. This Minutes was approved.
F. Director Report
Mr. Atwood advised the scope of work for the dry storage project has been readjusted
and resubmitted for a new quote. The project should be complete before the J 24 regatta.
IT began installing control boxes and ordered equipment to fix the marina WIFI. Four
T-Mobile hot spots were issued to Iiveaboard tenants on a trial basis.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens Welden Rappmund and Jaron Cox were
present to answer committee member questions. Mr. Bell said boat racers have had
negative inactions with fisherman. Warden Cox advised boaters and fisherman have to
share the public waterway, since the T-heads are City property signage can be regulated
from the land side. Mr. Broomfield suggested the Game Wardens check fishing licenses
during Wednesday night races. Mr. Broomfield inquired what boaters need to have on
board according to state law. Wardens Cox and Rappmund reviewed the required water
safety items as well as boater registration. Warden Cox advised the no wake zone in the
marina wasn't set by the state and therefore wardens are unable to enforce the speed
limit. However, if damage occurs due to a large wake Wardens Cox and Rappmund
suggested taking video and pictures as evidence of the event for the case to be pursued.
4. 22-0470 Contractor and Tenant Rules and Regulations
Mr. Atwood provided a final draft of the rules and regulations to the board, requesting
they look over the document and if no issues are found it can be adopted at the April
meeting.
5. 22-0472 Fishing Signage
It was decided the board would email recommendations for signs to Mr. Atwood to be
discussed at the next meeting before placing an order. Mr. Bell proposed signs that read
"No fishing within 100 yards of vessels." Mr. Broomfield suggested having uniformed
Marina staff present during the Wednesday night races.
6. 22-0473 Storm Water Issues
Mr. Bell met with the chairmen of the Watershore, Storm Water, and Parks and
Recreation committees, they advised the marina board should recommend some of the
funding for the trash collectors along Ocean Drive be allocated to the marina. Mr. Atwood
shared he had a conversation with Scott Harris, the project design engineer from LAN,
there is already a plan in place to put containment systems at three of the major outfalls
inside the marina.
7. 22-0474 Capital Improvement Projects
Mr. Atwood advised the pier replacement project is awaiting a permit from the US Army
Corps of Engineers, the Coopers Alley boaters facility and haul out facility project are
pending design firm selection. The design firm has been selected for the Peoples Street
boardwalk project. The concrete cap along the breakwater is complete and once a
dredge survey is conducted the McGee Beach project will be complete.
