Topic Proposed Whitecap Preserve development
Agenda Item Number 22-0743
Describe Feedback:
I live on the Island & I am highly opposed to this HUGE development being built at
Whitecap & 221 The traffic & roads are already terrible & this will only bring in a lot of
traffic which will add more wear & tear to the already poor quality roads. Needless to
say the noise level will increase with so many people & vehicles in this area. It will no
longer be a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood as the hotel, condos, & townhomes will bring
in lots of people from all over the country. The lights will constantly give off a glow
limiting visibility at night & that could also be harmful to certain migrating birds
depending on the time of year. The appraisal value & therefore the property taxes of
our homes has already skyrocketed & this will only increase them more! Please don't
ruin our island by allowing this type of development to be built with the only benefit
going into a few pockets!

Topic AEP rate increase
Agenda Item Number 13.
Describe Feedback: Unbelievable that while y'all were voting to give
crypto miners tax abatements and we were arguing
it was going to raise our electric rate you lied by
omission and hid the fact that a AEP was seeking a
rate increase. You have the citizens and small
business held hostage to these people and you not
in moving the industrial district closer to homes a
church and a junior high school. You repeatedly
disregard public input at our public comments and
you give differential treatment to Industry. We
reject desal plants and you ignore well you're not
going to be able to keep ignoring us. You have
become part of the national conversation
congratulations. Once again I demand that you
install people to the Port Commission who do not
have a conflict of interest you ignored us when we
asked for people's Port candidates you were
undemocratic and I think you're breaking the law.
