Call to Order Curtis Clark called the meeting to order at 6pm. II. Public Comment No public comment. III. Discussion and Possible Action on Adoption of the FY 2023 Proposed Budget Pat Eldridge started the discussion explaining the City Manager would like the Board to consider additional options for the budget. Therefore, the proposed budget will not be adopted today. The board will meet again July 6th, 2022, at 2 p.m. for adoption. Eddie Houlihan from the Office of Management and Budget shared the $15,000 increase for police vehicle fuel compared to the previous budget presentation. Curtis Clark expressed he does not feel comfortable with the amount since prices have continued to rise in the past month. Joseph Kramer added, school districts have raised their fuel budget a significant amount compared to our proposed. Chief Markle agreed to take another look at the numbers. Eddie Houlihan also explained a $10,000 increase in employee retirement, disability, and insurance. IV. Public Hearing on Proposed FY2023 budget Curtis Clark opened the public hearing at 6:08pm and asked for public comment. Seeing none, Curtis Clark closed the public Hearing at 6:10 p.m. The Proposed FY2023 budget was not adopted. The City Manager requested the Board delay the approval to consider some additional options. The next meeting for budget adoption will be July 6, 2022, 2:00 pm, 6th floor executive conference room. V. Identify items for next agenda- September 21, 2022 No items identified. VI. Adjournment Curtis Clark adjourned meeting at 6:12 p.m.
