A. Call To Order
Chairman Bell called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

D. Approval of Minutes and Action on Absences
The minutes for the November 14, 2022 special meeting were approved.

F. Director's Report
Marina Manager Jonathan Atwood advised the Illuminated Boat Parade was a success
with approximately 16 participants, a couple from out of town. Alyssa Mason asked the
committee for ways to encourage boaters to participate in the future. The DMD may hold
a skipper's brunch and kickoff event. John Murray suggested giving visiting boaters a
longer discounted transient stay in order to make the trip here and have time to set up
their decorations. Mr. Atwood informed the committee an RFP will be sent out for the
Marina Master Plan. The marina software update has a go live date of January 16, 2023.
The update will transfer all data to a cloud-based system, include a tenant interface to
improve access to account information as well as operations management tools.

G. Unfinished Business
3. 22®2067 Capital Improvement Projects Updates
Mr. Atwood provided updates on Capital Improvement Projects. He advised National
Marine Fisheries must resubmit documents to the USACE for a correction before the
pier construction permit can be approved. Biweekly meetings with the engineers to go
over details for the Peoples St boardwalk project are held, a 30% design plan should be
ready by early January. Mr. Atwood stated outdoor WiFi access points are still on
backorder.
H. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
4. 22®2065 Erosion Control Resolution
Chairman Richard Bell presented the committee with a joint resolution for a City erosion
control plan in conjunction with the Island Strategic Action Committee, the Watershore
and Beach Advisory Committee, and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
Without Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, Kevin Johnson present to explain the
resolution and how it relates to the marina Mr. Murray made a motion to table the
discussion until more information is made available. Mr. Pendlyshok seconded the
motion and it passed unanimously.
