Senior Corps Advisory Committee Minutes
Date: 11/30/22 Location: Galvan House
This meeting was called to order at 12:04pm by Betsy Miller.
Roll Call:
Present Members: Gary Burger, Allison Vela, Betsy Miller, and Stephanie Brown, Joann Cantu
SCP Liaison: Jeannine Leal
Old Business:
• Stephanie Brown / Minutes – Motion to approve minutes by Allison Vela.
• RSVP Update – No reports currently.
• SCP Update – SCP is holding Holiday Luncheon at Lindale Senior Center. On going recruitment efforts
have garnered 6 new companions and 4 candidates waiting to be processed.
New Business: SCP
• 2023 Upcoming MLK event.
• Setting up meetings for next year and upcoming events.
• SCP has 6 recruits.
• Beyond the Call of Duty Awards coming in March.
• Upcoming meetings and events discussed and agreed upon.
Items to be Placed on next Agenda:
• All upcoming events and meetings as discussed and scheduled.
• Beyond the Call of Duty nominee.
