Senior Corps Advisory Committee Minutes
Date: 12/16/22 Location: Galvan House
This meeting was called to order at 12:16pm by Betsy Miller.
Roll Call:
Present Members: Gary Burger, Allison Vela, Betsy Miller, and Stephanie Brown.
SCP Liaison: Jeannine Leal
RSVP Liaison: Erika Maldonado
Absent Members: Joann Lerma
Old Business:
• Stephanie Brown / Minutes – Motion to approve minutes by Gary Burger.
• RSVP Update – No reports currently.
• SCP Update – SCP is raising stipend and will continue to recruit all year. SCP had 83,46
service hours this year. Two news releases and 12 in-service meetings were completed.
New Business: SCP
• 2023 Upcoming MLK event. SCP will assist delivery of Meals on Wheels to community.
• Setting up meetings for next year and upcoming events.
• SCP has 14 recruits and 61 companies.
• Voting for “Beyond the Call of Duty” (Kathy)
• Upcoming meetings and events discussed and agreed upon.
• Awards for Board members
Items to be Placed on next Agenda:
• All upcoming events and meetings as discussed and scheduled.
• Beyond the Call of Duty nominee.
