A Board member expressed concerns over the notification process. She indicated an application was submitted by an organization she belongs too, and it was weeks before they received confirmation. Another time the groups reservation was canceled with little advance notice. Staff indicated that recently there have been delays in providing confirmation due to some conflicts. However, they informed the person submitting the application that there would be a delayed response. When meeting room conflicts occur, at the last minute, staff makes every attempt to provide another meeting space. Staff was unaware of any cancellations and would investigate the matter.
