Building Standards Board
Thursday,July 27,2023 1:30 PM City Hall,Council Chambers.
I. Call to Order, Roll Call
Chairman Giffin called the meeting to order at 1:30 pm and a quorum was established to
conduct the meeting.
Present: 5- Chair Catherine Giffin, Merced Pena, John Solberg, Monica Pareso, and Carlos Martinez
II. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
III. Approval of Absences: Chairman Pareso
A motion was made by Board Member Martinez to approve the absence and seconded
by Board Member Pena. The Vote: Aye: All in favor. The motion passed
IV. Approval of Minutes

A motion was made by Chairman Giffin to approve the minutes listed above and
seconded by Board Member Martinez . The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed

A motion was made by Board Member Solberg to approve the staff report listed below
and seconded by Board Member Pena . The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed.

and secured by a perimeter fence. Board Member Martinez seconded. The Vote: Aye:
Vice-Chairman Pareso, Board Members Martinez and Pena. Nay: Chairman Giffin and
Board Member Solberg. The motion passed.
