A. Call To Order
Chair Melody Cooper called the meeting to order at 12:03 pm
B. Roll Call
Present: 7- Chair Melody H. Cooper,Adria Vasquez,Vice Chair Luis F. Cabrera,Valerie
Harbolovic, Susane"Westi" Horn, Charles Harris,and Heather Moretzsohn
Excused: 1 - Mourad Hasbaoui
Absent: 1 - Arthur Wallace
C. Public Comment
None
D. Approval of Minutes and Action on Absences
Approved Unanimously
Art Wallace is resigning effective immediately.
E. Committee Reports
Agen - review Mayor's notes to committee - Mayor approves with the condition that
staff review the presentations that the delgation plan to present.
Veracruz - update on early 2024 meeting between mayors; Letter to invite Mayor of
Veracruz to have a phone meeting with Mayor Guajardo has gone out; Val has been
in contact with Veracruz staff.

Budget - Review; Agen will need to present budget expectations in January.
Fundraiser - update;Piano reserved, price forthcoming; printed invitations and posters
were distributed to the committee.
Student Exchange - update on applicants; discuss extending deadline; Deadlihne
extended to January 15th. Committee will notify the schools.
F. Staff Reports
Christmas gifts to our Sister city's were mailed.
Mayor would like to re-establish relations with Monterrey. Val will investigate.
