A. Call To Order
12:00 - chairman Melody Cooper called the meeting to order.
B. Roll Call

E. Committee Reports
Agen - Productive meeting with the French delegations; they liked all of our ideas; the
next step is to present our suggestions to the mayor for her approval.
Yokosuka - Include them in the student exchange next year, no movement on
coordinating a visit between the two cities outside of the students.
Veracruz - Mayor call set for Nov 9th, waiting for their mayor to accept; we reviewed
the potential topics of conversation and discussed the upcoming call with Jorge, our
contact
Toledo - Martha Vela with EI Paso is helping us to reconnect. Wendy has a meeting
with her soon.

Student Exchange -Application will be updated and ready to launch at November 3rd
ribbon cutting.
Budget - no meeting
F. Staff Reports
It was unanimously voted to change the date of our meetings from the 1 st Monday of
the Month to the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
G. Unfinished Business
Committee received an update on the November 3rd Ribbon Cutting. Wendy will send
the digital invitations to all members so they can forward to their contacts.
Committee received a report from Charles on a potential fundraiser. Charles will have
a solidified plan by the December meeting for the committee to consider.
H. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
Mourad would like to see a city in Morocco be considered for a Sister City slot. We
reviewed the application process and Mourad will return to the committee with more
details.
Heather gave an update on Keelung, South Korea. She has had a conversation with a
third party who says that the country is interested in re-establishing with it's Sister
Cities. She will pursue this avenue and let us know what comes of it.
