3. 24®0237 Capital Improvement Projects Update
Mr. Atwood updated the committee on the department's Capital Improvement Projects.
Mr. Atwood advised the construction company removed 7 pilings over the weekend, each
taking an hour to remove. Hopefully dredging will begin on February 19th. The Coopers
Alley boater's facility is at 60% design. Mr. Atwood met with the City's Water Department
about replacing 2 lines when the project is in progress. This could possibly delay the
project. The haul out facility 60% design plan should be turned in soon. We are still
waiting for a Corps of Engineers permit to begin the Peoples Street Boardwalk project,
but it should go to bid by the end of February. Mr. Atwood receives biweekly updates on
the master plan. City Council will need to approve the final plan and individual projects
within the plan can go to public voting for funding.
H. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
4. 24®0238 Introduction of New Committee Member

enforcement presence in the marina, put together a marketing and communications plan,
