Approval of Minutes and Action on Absences Correction to 2/6/24 Minutes: all ISAC members that were noted as "Nay" on the Infill Resolution motion should be changed to "abstains."Approved with corrections. 1. ISAC Minutes from 2/6/24 Attachments: ISAC Meeting Minutes 2.6.24 DRAFT G. Unfinished Business 2. 22-0397 Ex-Officio Member Updates Nueces County (Bryan Gulley) - Update on Bob Hall Pier, had a different engineering company come in to do a quality assurance, going to special meeting of the Parks Board on 3/18 to accept/reject but are expected to accept. Need outside resources to raise some money, planning to solicit the Port for a portion, total around $1 M. Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (Twila Stevens) - Not many updates specific to the island, public comment at last meeting regarding a trails grant so PRAC is looking into it. The Smoking Ban was removed from the council agenda for now while PRAC collects more community support for it. Also considering Bird City application, the previous one was denied but they are researching the process for a potential future application. 3. 22-0398 Beaches & Parks Update Darren Gurley - getting ready for Spring Break, put in emergency lane near Zahn for PD, selling permits, trash cans out, getting busy and getting ready. Everything going well, beach is wider and dredging is complete. 4. 22-0399 Engineering & Bond Updates None to report. 5. 22-0400 TIRZ #2 & Area Development Plan Updates None to report. 6. 23-0793 Island BFE/FEMA Subcommittee Update Attachments: Infill House Subcommittee DRAFT Staff recommends to the ISAC committee that the Infill Resolution passed at the 2/6/24 ISAC Meeting be submitted to the UDC Tactical Advisory Group instead of City Council. Since the UDC updates are already underway and will be reviewed by council at a later date, staff feels that this is a more prudent way to affect changes on the island to the residents' benefit. A role call vote followed and this recommendation was passed. Aye: 8- Meagan Furey, Robert Corbett, Roy Coons, Charles F. Duffley, Marvin Jones,Terry A.
