Homeland Security Grants Division for the Operation Stonegarden Program in the
amount of $228,898.00; and appropriating $228,898.00 in the Police Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant from the State of Texas Governor's Homeland Security Grant
Division in the amount of $228,898.00 for Operation Stonegarden.
SECTION 2. That $228,898.00 from the State of Texas Homeland Security Grants
Division is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund.
SECTION 3. There is no City cash match or in -kind services for acceptance of the grant.
SECTION 4. In the event of the loss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus Christi
assures that the funds will be returned to the State of Texas, Office of the Governor, in
full.
SECTION 5. That the operating budget approved by Ordinance for FY2023-24 be
amended to increase revenues and expenditures.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
