Motion authorizing Amendment No. 3 to the professional services contract with
Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) for the North Beach Drainage Improvement
Project in the amount of $473,604.00, for a total contract value not to exceed
$1,254,408.00 to provide design, bid, and construction phase services for reconstruction
of Beach Avenue, from East Causeway Boulevard to the beach, and Gulfspray Avenue,
from East Causeway Boulevard to the beach, and to provide design services for the
North Beach Eco Park project; located in Council District 1, with FY 2024 funding
available from the American Rescue Plan Act Grant Funds.
At a meeting of the City Council on 6/25/2024, this Motion was passed.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
