TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
RISING TIDE MINISTRIES
This First Amendment ("First Amendment") is made by and between the City of Corpus
Christi ("City") and Rising Tide Ministries("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient entered into an agreement in FY2024-PY2023
("Agreement") which was approved by the City Council on July 25, 2023, for the purpose
of utilizing the City's FY2024-PY2023 Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG")
Program funds to provide Minor Home Repair "Safe at Home" Program; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this First Amendment to express their mutual
desire to reaffirm all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement
and any prior amendments, to extend the compliance and termination dates of the
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree as follows:
Section 1. Subsection 1.1 Term of Agreement is amended by deleting the original
termination date of"September 30, 2024" and inserting the new and extended termination
date of"September 30, 2025."
Section 2. Subsection 2.3 of the Agreement is amended by replacing "Exhibit A", with the
Agreement Extension Project Work Schedule attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as "Exhibit A".
Section 3. Subsection 8.9 Completion Date of Construction is amended by deleting the
original termination date of"September 30, 2024" and inserting the new completion date of
"September 30, 2025."
Section 4. By execution of this First Amendment, the parties agree to revise and extend
the construction compliance and term dates stated in the original Agreement. All other
terms, conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not changed by this First Amendment
remain the same and in full force and effect.
