for FY 2024-2025 beginning October 1, 2024, and ending September
30, 2025, with revenues in a total amount of $9,441,101.00 and
expenditures in a total amount of $11,871,085.00 to fund 78 authorized
Police sworn personnel and 8 vehicles, and equipment to support
both; and appropriating $11,871,085.00 in the Crime Control and
Prevention District Fund.
WHEREAS, the Crime Control and Prevention District Board held a public hearing
on June 12, 2024, and adopted FY 2024-2025 budget in compliance with all legal
requisites including notice of the public hearing published in a newspaper of general
circulation in the district not later than 10 days before the hearing; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held during a meeting of the City Council in
compliance with all legal requisites including notice of the public hearing published in a
newspaper of general circulation in the district not later than 10 days before the hearing.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The FY 2024-2025 budget for the Corpus Christi Crime Control and Prevention
District is approved.
