Commission on Environmental Quality for the 2024-2025 Local Emergency
Planning Committee Grant Program in the amount of $44,965.02 to be used
to support the City of Corpus Christi—Nueces County Local Emergency
Planning Committee and the Corpus Christi Fire Department Hazardous
Material Response Team in purchasing marketing supplies, Hazmat
equipment, and training.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to submit a grant
application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for the 2024-2025 Local
Emergency Planning Committee Grant Program for a total of $44,965.02.
SECTION 2. There is no City cash match or in -kind services for these grants.
SECTION 3. The City Manager or designee may apply for, accept, reject, alter, or
terminate the grant.
SECTION 4. The City of Corpus Christi designates the Fire Chief as the City's authorized
officials. The authorized officials are given the power to apply for, accept, reject, alter, or
terminate the funding on behalf of the applicant agency.
