Resources for the 2024 Helping Heroes Grant Program in the amount of
$10,351.65 to be used to support the Corpus Christi Fire Department
Hazardous Material Response Team in purchasing Hazmat equipment.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to submit a grant
application to Flint Hill Resources for the 2024 Helping Heroes Grant Program for a total
of $10,351.65.
SECTION 2. There is no City cash match or in -kind services for these grants.
SECTION 3. The City Manager or designee may apply for, accept, reject, alter, or
terminate the grant.
SECTION 4. The City of Corpus Christi designates the Fire Chief as the City's authorized
officials. The authorized officials are given the power to apply for, accept, reject, alter, or
terminate the funding on behalf of the applicant agency.
