J. Ellis Seawall on North Padre Island, which is dedicated to the City, located
in Council District 4.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The Michael J. Ellis Seawall, aka North Padre Island Seawall, "Seawall" is hereby
accepted as property of the City of Corpus Christi, and the City declares jurisdiction over the
Seawall.
SECTION 2. The City has legal responsibility and authority to maintain and repair the Seawall in
accordance with state and federal law and perform disaster -related restoration of the Seawall.
SECTION 3. The City has no contractual obligation to any individual or other entity for any of the
duties stated herein.
