I. CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL: Chairman Merdes called the meeting to order at 1:30 pm and
a quorum was established with Member Gentry absent. Member Tiner resigned from the board.
II. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
III. APPROVAL OF ABSENCES: March 21, 2024: Member Tiner.
Vice Chairman Cervantes made a motion to approve the absence, seconded by Member Lee.
The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:March 21, 2024.
Vice Chairman Cervantes made a motion to approve the minutes from March 21, 2024,
seconded by Member Jimenez. The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed.
V. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION:
Residential Construction Code
Electrical Code
Member Jimenez made a motion to approve the Residential Construction Code and Electrical
Code revisions, seconded by Vice Chairman Cervantes. The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed.
VI. BUILDING OFFICIAL REPORT: Issues with the portal.
VII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: None.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1:45 pm.
