I. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL:
Chairman Pruitt called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm and a quorum was establishedto conduct
the meeting with Commissioner Wilson absent.
II. PUBLIC COMMENT:None.
III. PRESENTATION OF HISTORIC DESIGNATIONPLAQUES: 314 Clifford, 310 Clifford Street
and 601 N. Water.
IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 21, 2024.
A motion was made by Commissioner Wanzer to approve the minutes as presented by staff,
seconded by Commissioner McLaughlin. The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed.
V. APPROVAL OF ABSENCES: None.
VI. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION:
Approve 2024 Annual Report
A motion was made by Commissioner Riggle to approve the 2024 Annual Report as
presented, seconded by Commissioner Espinoza. The Vote: All Aye. The motion passed.
Approve 2025 Calendar
A motion was made by Commissioner McLaughlin to approve the 2025 Calendar as
presented by staff, seconded by Commissioner Riggle. The Vote: All Aye. The motion
passed.
VII. HISTORIC PRESERVATION OFFICER REPORT: Robert Kurtz
Mr. Kurtz explained in detail the following items: No action was taken.
Update on Sidbury House / Grants: roof repair
Wilson Building / NR: applying for the National Registerof Historic Places, and build
apartments.
Preservation Ordinance: working with THC to revise and update our Ordinancein the
Municipal Code and UDC; COA, COAD, and Landmark make up, to match the Certified
Local Government rules and regulations.Revisions will be presented to the LMC and to
City Council.
Discussed moving the art contest to the fall and researching sponsors and incentives.
Award Nominees: Ideas for nominees.
THC Yearly Report
LMC Appointments: City Council January 28, 2025
Clifford Street Flyers: meet with residents to start the process of the Historic District
NAPC Training: Training required for Landmark Commissioners

Structures/signsresearch
Carroll High School demolition; research the reliefs and mosaics to save for historical
purposes.
IX.ADJOURNMENT: Seeing no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at5:31
pm.
