MEETING MINUTES
12/13/2024

A. Call to Order at: Jeannine Leal at 3:10 p.m.
B. Roll Call of Members: Jeannine Leal, 3:12 p.m.
a. Attendees: JoAnn, Chairperson, Alison, Stephanie, Jeannine, SCP Director; Gary, and Kathy,
Volunteer Representative.
C. Public Comment:
a. None
D. Approval of Minutes: Minutes are approved as presented.
E. Staff Reports:
a. SCP Program update and overview on the upcoming events in 2024/2025
41 SCP volunteers worked 4,946.50 hours, drove 12,285. Miles serving clients, and we paid out
$26,435.65 in stipends.
b. RSVP Program Update: Erika will send the report.
F. Unfinished Business:
a. Joann, Chair, presented the board report, and the committee voted to ratify. Passed
unanimously.
G. New Business for Discussion and Possible Action
a. November recognition had speakers and a Pinning of Veterans. Luncheon catered by Marcos. At
the December event, all companions received red jackets. Meal catered by Salinas catering. Coat
drive in January for MLK day.
b. RSVP Program Updates: The update will be submitted later.
F. SET NEXT MEETING / ADJOURNMENT.
a. The next meeting is set for 01/12/2024 3:00 p.m., at the Oveal Williams Senior Center Conference
Room.
