A quorum of the City Council may attend. If a quorum is present, this will be
considered an open, public meeting during the time a quorum is present. However, as
a governmental body, the City Council will not vote, order, decide, deliberate, or
otherwise take any Council action on any items discussed.

25-1382 a. Commendation honoring Melissa Sosa from Weldon Gibson
Elementary School as Mayor's Teacher of the Month.
b. Proclamation declaring August 12, 2025, as "Big Brothers Big Sisters
of the Texas Coastal Bend Day."
c. Proclamation declaring September 1, 2025, as "Labor Day."
d. Proclamation declaring September 6, 2025, as "Operation K.E.Y.S.
Keeping Every Youth in School Day."
