WI, for the reconstruction of Starlite Lane, from Violet Road to Leopard Street , with
new concrete pavement, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, ADA-compliant curb ramps,
signage, pavement markings, upgraded street illumination, utility and drainage
improvements, in an amount up to $12,563,957.74, located in Council District 1 with
FY 2025 funding available from Street Bond 2022, Storm Water, Water, Wastewater
and Gas Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute a construction contract with Gerke
Excavating, Inc. for reconstruction of Starlite Lane, from Violet Road to Leopard Street, in
the amount of $12,563,957.74.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described below
is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has not been
appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation by the City
Council.

The remaining funds up to $5,386,041.24, will be available from the FY2026 Street Bond 2022, Storm
